Yeah Baby – Family Friendly Music Festival

Yeah Baby is a free, family friendly music festival taking place in Abingdon Market Square on the 7th July between 11-5pm. The festival is completely non-profit making and run by a team of local friends who want to raise money for three local childrens charities – The Amber Phillpott Trust, Ronald McDonald House and Helen and Douglas House.

This is the 10th year we have run the event, which has raised over £60,000 to date and we feel that this is really worth celebrating so hope this year will be the best year yet! During the day there will be lots of live music which we hope will appeal to everyone.  This includes a set by Nick Cope (musician/songwriter for young children and families) which we are very excited about as he is fab and hugely popular!

Other attractions include face painting, body glitter/tattoos, bbq, bar, crafts, cakes and an exciting balloon race and a Teddy Tombola!   Every child who participates in the non-school uniform day will automatically be entered into a raffle to win a prize which include, amongst others, some signed books and photo’s from David Walliams. There will also be a little fringe event taking place in the courtyard of Mostly Books when children’s author Tom Moorhouse will be running a session during the day.
