The Dance curriculum is designed to support, contribute to and complement the ethos, philosophies and aims of Larkmead School and the subjects within.  First and foremost the curriculum is formulated to provide a wide, stimulating and enjoyable range of learning opportunities and experiences.

The ultimate aim is to provide a voyage of discovery that leads to realisation of each individual’s true potential.   It is hoped that the social, moral cultural and spiritual & communicative study skills learnt in Dance will far transcend school life.  Structured schemes of work provide for realistic challenge, progression and success.  The true measure of success is the individual’s pursuit and appreciation of Dance into future life, or indeed, that moment in a lesson that leaves a lifelong impression.
